Breastfeeding is a biodynamic process

Now, breastfeeding is a very dynamic process. I would like to actually call it the biodynamic process between the mother and baby. And that cannot be replicated when we have a process that’s from outside using technology. And we are going to be using a process of expression from outside using a pump for example. It’s not the same dynamic process that mother and baby actually have.

So to expect that the same level of response from your body is going to be equivalent to when the baby is constantly given access to the breast is something that cannot be put on the same scale, it cannot be, it cannot be measured in the same scale.

And we need to understand that. So if a mother starts to experience or lowering of milk supply for a long term use of the pump, then it’s quite understandable that the biodynamic process of this attachment with the baby and the mother has been broken.
